O Old

“Brick walls are there for a reason. They let us prove how badly we want things.”

Have you heard of the guy called Matt Olding? Well, soon you will, as he has revealed the secrets of his success at his website! It’s quite an amazing story to tell. That site was developed to show people perhaps underestimated facts about business possibilities on the Internet. The facts explained within the system have been tried and proven to work by the man himself. Also, the methods the site has, are also proven to be very efficient. In fact, they are so efficient, that the author probably never has to work regularly again. So it’s good to keep in mind, that the methods Matt recommends, are actually easy to utilize, and they all have Money Back Guarantee. They are there to help you, so I would recommend you to check them out. Very often internet offers you all kinds of moneymaking possibilities, which most of them are scams. So Matt is going to give you few tested methods that really work!

Yes, you may have to pay some money to get rich, but so what? What did you expect, to get rich by clicking a few buttons? Well, you can get rich by clicking a few buttons, but you also has to pay a small price for that. And you are never at risk at losing anything, because they have Money Back Guarantee. The price is quite, heck, it’s very small, tiny, compared to what you get. Yes, I know, these days you can get almost anything for free over the net, but that would mean you would have to scavenge tens, maybe hundreds of sites to get the information, and you would have to learn by trial and error. But if you want to do it that way, it’s your decision, of course. People are always afraid of losing their money, and maybe it’s a good thing. After all, internet is full of scams. But what’s sad, is that they are not willing to spend some money to gain financial freedom. The risk in this particular case, is so insignificat, that I must urge everyone to try these ones out!

All of those sites Matt has chosen, has money back guarantee, so it might be easier to make the purchase. Matt always loves to play for safe. He always wants money-back-guarantee, otherwise, it’s a no-go. If those advices wouldn’t really work, they wouldn’t give you such guarantees, I promise you. When you choose to go for it, you have to remember, that you also have to make some work to make it happen. It doesn’t happen completely automatically. Well, almost, but not quite.

“Nothing good comes for free” (Well, no, but dirt cheap it does)

No longer will you have to stay up at all hours of the night looking for extra income. You have found the perfect site to get everything you need, to get your business started. You can get started on the side in your spare time and find that eventually you will start making more and more and then you will want to spend more and more time online.

Nowadays, I often wonder why I didn’t do this earlier, but perhaps it is, that basic people, like You and me, never think out of the box. If I told you that I earn five figure sums per month now, when only six monts ago, I barely had money to get some decent bread in my mouth, you probably wouldn’t even believe me. Hell, it’s hard for me to believe this myself! And the beautiful thing is, that I basically didn’t have to learn myself anything. Everything was given to me, basically. I traded small amount of money, to huge sums of money. It’s a trade I can live with. I know it’s hard to believe all those sales”speeches”. They promise you the moon, and usually give you a rock, or that’s what I used to think, and most of the other people. But then I thought, that if all those guys are making vast amounts of money over the net, why can’t I? I’m not stupid or anything. I, myself think that I’m quite a clever person. Well, most of my friends wouldn’t agree, but that’s another story, heh.

But the thing is, you just have to choose the right methods, the ones that have that feeling. That feeling, that it just might work. Everyone said that it’s never going to work, that I was throwing away my money. “Yet another scam”, they said. I think those persons were afraid that I was going to get rich, and they weren’t. That they didn’t have balls to do it. After all, it’s in the nature of men to be jealous of everything. You can read forums on the internet these days, and they’re full of people whining that they aren’t getting any money. Well, I can tell, that they’re doing something very wrong! Because it ain’t that hard, if you know what you are doing. The key thing is to know what to do! If you never try anything new, you never gain anything. I think life is all about experimenting. You don’t want to spend all your life doing boring things, like working and watching tv. Sometimes you just got to go and try something drastic! And look where it took me? Even if you don’t want to try those fool proof methods, I would like You to promise me that you will try to live your life the way you want it! Not the way your mother wants, or not the way your friends at the pub want. It’s about your life. Do something with it. You can’t win or lose in this life. The guy who gets most money doesn’t win. The guy who gets no money doesn’t lose. Life isn’t that black and white. They say that money doesn’t buy happiness, but hell, we all want to try it anyway! So, I at least recommend you to become acquainted with those methods, and make your decision yourself. But I promise you, it’s worth a look!

The day I got self-sufficient, was remarkable. It was almost as if the secrets of the universes had been revealed. And I just want you to feel the same thing. It’s not all about money. But when you have money, you can do all the things you have always wanted. And have more spare time, because you don’t have to go to work anymore. Yeah, I still have to work, but only few hours a week, to keep steady income flowing. You can hardly call that a work, now can you?

Matt Olding is already a householdname in certain circles. The man has lifted many novices to the money making big series. He is just a simple man, with a dream of a better world. A world where dreams may come true. His website at http://moneymakingsecrets.freehostia.com/ offers keys to riches, and those willing to try, are known to succeed. All his methods include money-back-guarantee! It is recommended that you get acquainted with his methods immediately only at http://moneymakingsecrets.freehostia.com/

Warner Baxter, sporting a black mustache and a musical-comedy Mexican accent, stars as the Cisco Kid, the "Robin Hood of the Old West" created by O. Henry. Edmund Lowe co-stars as Cisco's "friendly enemy" Sgt. Mickey Dunne, the role that was originally to have gone to Raoul Walsh. Both men are madly in love with dusky beauty Tonia Maria (Dorothy Burgess), and in fact Cisco is so "far gone" that he composes a song in the girl's honor (actually, "My Tonia", first heard during the opening credits, was written by Fox studio tunesmiths Lew Brown, B.G. DeSylva and Ray Henderson). Alas, Tonia ends up betraying Cisco to Sgt. Burke. But the crafty, cold-blooded Cisco arranges for Tonia to be killed in the trap set for him (this plot resolution is faithful to O. Henry's original conception of the Cisco Kid, who wasn't really meant to be a "good guy"). ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

Still, no one is too pleased at Holmes''s insistence on reconstructing the most recent homicide in the desert gully where it occurred. What they unexpectedly uncover will lead Russell and Holmes through an exotic gauntlet of labyrinthine bazaars, verminous hovels, cliff-hung monasteries--and into mortal danger. In the jewel-like city of Jerusalem, they will at last meet their adversary, whose lust for power could reduce the city''s most ancient and sacred place to rubble and ignite a tinderbox of hostilities just waiting for a spark....

O Brother: Music in the Tradition O Brother: Music in the Tradition
$11.99

Full performer name: Original Soundtrack/Various Artists. One of the hidden benefits to the success of the Ethan and Joel Coen film, O Brother, Where Art Thou? is a renewed public interest in American roots music, leading to the release of many compilations such as this one: a collection of blues, folk, and gospel gems, originally released on 78 rpm records in the 1920s, ,30s and ,40s. This is the real stuff, though, missives from what Greil Marcus calls "that old, weird America," and not the smooth, somewhat sanitized renditions found on the O Brother soundtrack. These tracks creak and moan, and have an edgy immediacy that comes from another time and place, and while they were commercial recordings, it is difficult to imagine any of these artists dealing comfortably with the star-making machinations of the contemporary music business. Among the many classic recordings collected here are Charley Patton's driving "Mississippi Boll Weavil," the cadenced "Stop And Listen Blues," by the Mississippi Sheiks, the blues spiritual "Keep Your Lamp Trimmed and Burning," by Blind Willie Johnson, and the fiery, fiddle-fueled "Ride Old Buck to the Water," by Gid Tanner and His Skillet Lickers. Also of interest are a trio of modal banjo tracks -- "Coo Coo Bird" by Clarence Ashley, "The Dying Soldier" by Buell Kazee, and "Danville Girl" by Dock Boggs -- that are haunting and effective in their archaic strangeness. ~ Steve Leggett

This study will serve as a resource for teaching and discussing the issue of social justice in universities, seminaries, and religious communities.

Warner Baxter received an Academy Award for his portrayal of the Cisco Kid, the Robin Hood of the West who was based on the character conceived by O. Henry. Originally cast in the role, director Raoul Walsh (White Heat) had to drop out of the project after a car accident involving a jackrabbit left him with his signature eye patch, which he wore for the rest of his life. The Cisco Kid and his rival, Sgt. Mickey Dunne (Edmund Lowe), are both in love with the fetching Tonia Maria (Dorothy Burgess, Lady For A Night), whose beauty is equal only to her trickery. She soon betrays the Kid to the Sergeant, and Cisco turns ruthless in his quest for revenge, plotting to ensnare Tonia in a trap that was meant for him.

The perfect glass for sipping whisky from an outstanding glass manufacturer, this set of 2 Double Old-Fashioned Glasses from Riedel exudes functionality with its clean lines and quality design. Measures 3.9-in. tall and holds 15.1 -oz. Made in Germany. Maximilian Riedel (11th generation) presents his first glass series. The Riedel connoisseur will be surprised to find that this new glass series has something missing – there is no stem or base. In short: “O” is the ideal glass for every day use and for every occasion. It is fun, feels good to hold, looks trendy and it works! The designs of “O” are based on the benchmark shapes of Riedel Vinum. For the first time in glass history the design parameters such as shape of tumbler, size and diameter of rim, have been finely-tuned to enhance the world's most important grape varietals. As a child growing up in New York, director Pola Rapaport recalls her teenage sister ardently trying to get her hands on a copy of of French author Pauline Reage`s fiery, newly translated 1954 novel of erotica, THE STORY OF O, after reading a review of it in the newspaper. When Rapaport was old enough to read it, she became captivated by its violent sexuality--which she had difficulty believing to be the creation of a woman`s imagination. In 1994, author Reage revealed herself to be Dominique Aury, an editor and translator at France`s respected Gallimard publishing house--and a noted feminist--who composed O at the age of 47 in order to excite her married lover, literary giant Jean Paulhan--her senior by 20 years. Then, in 1998, during a trip to Paris, Rapaport`s curiosity about this fascinating woman prompted her to contact Aury and arrange a visit. Their conversation was the inspiration for this personal documentary, which attempts to explain the evolving popularity of the book through a series of interviews, dramatizations of events from Aury`s life, and softcore enactments of passages from the novel. The result is a touching look at a literary puzzle, with a little skin thrown in for the interest of the less literary minded.

In Old Chicago (DVD) In Old Chicago (DVD)
$10.46

A huge-budget drama released by Fox Studios in 1937 in response to MGM`s historical-disaster film SAN FRANCISCO, IN OLD CHICAGO is a fictionalized account of Chicago`s Great Fire of 1871. Mrs. O`Leary`s (Alice Brady, MY MAN GODFREY) two sons couldn`t be more different: Jack (Don Ameche, HEAVEN CAN WAIT) is a lawyer in the running to become the mayor of the city, while Dion (Tyrone Power) is a powerful force in the less-reputable echelons of town. In addition to the divergent paths their lives have taken, the brothers are also in love with the same woman, beautiful singer Belle Fawcett (Alice Faye, HELLO, FRISCO, HELLO), whose choice between the brothers only intensifies their rivalry. The feud comes to a head just before Mother O`Leary`s famous cow knocks over the fateful lantern, and in the ensuing chaos of the fire, the brothers join forces to salvage the city. Both tragedy and redemption visit the O`Leary family in a dramatic climax that features some stunning special effects footage of the consuming fire, which won the film the 1938 nomination for Best Picture.

O`Death - Head Home O`Death - Head Home
$11.82

Decades before the critics were crying: "Rock is dead!" they were telling everyone: "Folk music is dead." An odd statement, since anyone who knows anything about music knows that folk music -- blues, field hollers, cowboy songs, ancient British and Scotch ballads -- are the foundation of American music from rock to rap. Luckily, nobody told the boys in O`Death the news. Their take on old-timey music reinvents older folk styles for a new generation by dropping punk, grunge, swing, rock, metal and even jazz into their fractured arrangements. Their high-energy renditions may put off purists, but they`re in keeping with the folk tradition and while their songs are all self composed, they tip their hat to the past with a winning blend of yesterday and today. Taking their name from Dock Boggs` most famous tune implies that they`re not as irreverent about the music as their raucous presentation might suggest. The album kicks off with "Down to Rest," a combination of Appalachian dirge and Cab Calloway style strut. Greg Jamie`s uncontained squall sounds like an alcohol fueled frenzy, while the bands stomping swing, particularly the work of Bob Pycior on fiddle, shows they`re not messing around. "Allie Mae Reynolds" is a mash-up of bluegrass punk and jug band music with galloping washboard percussion, punk bass and frenzied fiddling, with Jamie`s vocals again multiplying the insanity factor. "Busted Old Church" is a spiritual as played by a roomful of pagans keeping rhythm on junkyard percussion instruments. "Ground Stump" is a stomping rave-up with another uncontained vocal from Jamie stitched together with slower, pastoral moments graced by Pycior`s fiddle. "Jesus Look Down," a plea for forgiveness for unnamed sins, complements Jamie`s woeful vocals with slow ringing acoustic guitar, ghostly electric slide work and moaning fiddle, while "The Crab Apple Switch," a brief instrumental, features ragged banjo picking and odd percussion accents. O`Death makes a mighty noise using mostly acoustic instruments -- Jesse Newman`s electric bass and some electric guitar are in evidence -- putting out the kind of energy many amplified bands can only dream of. Along with Jamie`s boisterous, barely rational vocals, they create a sound that`s unique in any world -- folk, rock, bluegrass or otherwise. ~ j. poet Copyright (C) Muze Inc. 2005. Even on this, her solo debut and most recognizably Celtic album, O`Connell expands her musical horizons enough to include elements of English folk, American country, even pop and jazz into her own music. An exquisite interpretive singer, O`Connell sings every one of these tracks with the assurance of an author, as if she`s revealing her own personal truths, even on traditional songs like "The Isle of Malachy" and "The Water Is Wide." Elsewhere, stunning reinterpretations of Bela Fleck`s "Love`s Old Sweet Song"--Fleck returned the compliment by producing O`Connell`s next album, 1989`s HELPLESS HEART--and Paul McCartney`s "I Will" define her newfound artistic parameters. Where many debuts are tentative affairs, JUST IN TIME is a stunning, self-assured work that connects on every level. Copyright (C) Muze Inc. 2005. For personal use only. All rights reserved.
Rachel of Old Louisiana Rachel of Old Louisiana
$17.89

Rachel O'Connor was an extraordinary woman. For nearly fifty years (from 1797 to 1846), she lived on a plantation near Bayou Sara in Louisiana's West Feliciana Parish. And for twenty-five of those years, after the death of her husband, she managed the plantation alone. Although they had, as she said, begun poor , at the time of her death she owned about a thousand acres and seventy-five slaves. Not a biography in the conventional sense, Avery O. Craven's charming book is rather the story of Rachel and the Louisiana in which she lived. Based largely on several hundred of her letters, it tells of her day-to-day activities, her relationships with slaves and overseers, her successes and failures with crops, as well as her health and legal problems. By focusing on the life of one woman, Craven brings to light the thoughts, emotions, and attitudes of Louisianians (and other southerners) during this period. Rachel of Old Louisiana is a significant addition to the literature on the Old South.

Wendy O. Williams - WOW Wendy O. Williams - WOW
$15.18

Wendy O. Williams was formerlly the singer of the group The Plasmatics.Personnel: Wendy O. Williams (vocals); Wendy O. Williams; Michael Ray , Michael Ray (guitar); Micki Free (acoustic guitar); Mitch Weissman (piano); Gene Simmons (background vocals); Ace Frehley, Paul Stanley, Wes Beech (guitar); Reginald VanHelsing (bass guitar); Eric Carr, T.C. Tolliver (drums).Audio Remasterer: Andy Krehm.Recording information: Right Track Studios, NY.Wendy O. Williams wasted no time staking out a solo career following the Plasmatics` 1983 breakup. She found a patron in Kiss` tongue-wagging bassist Gene Simmons, who`d taken her old band on tour as a support act. The result led to Simmons` first production work outside of Kiss (while he credited his bass playing as Reginald Van Helsing, a pseudonym that didn`t fool astute fans). Simmons felt that Williams could succeed on her own terms, with better material and production. Simmons was half-right: his impressive production work stacks saber-toothed guitars on lush keyboards without burying Williams` two-fisted attitude. A solid supporting cast of former Plasmatics guitarist Wes Beech and drummer T.C. Tolliver doesn`t hurt. Neither do cameos by Kiss guitarists Paul Stanley, Ace Frehley, and late drummer Eric Carr. Simmons himself co-writes five tracks (which also carry the names of Plasmatics bassist Junior Romanelli and lead guitarist Richie Stotts, who aren`t actually on the album). Williams sounds sturdy and self-assured on the raunchy romps of "I Love Sex (And Rock `N` Roll)" and "Bump and Grind," although the standout track is the Simmons/Stanley anthem "It`s My Life," a thumping pop-metal vow to "do what I like." Another highlight is the pop ballad "Legends Never Die," as close to a conventional vocal performance as Williams ever managed. (The main riff went unused on Kiss` own Creatures in the Night album [1982], until Simmons dusted it off for inclusion here.) In some ways, Williams` first solo venture amounts to a watered-down echo of the Plasmatics` own bid for mainstream success, Coup d`Etat (1982), minus the latter record`s radical political bent. That`s not surprising, with the ever-career-conscious Simmons manning the producer`s chair. Despite his best efforts, however, Williams would stay a quintessential cult artist. While not a remarkable record, WOW offers a convincing enough glimpse of the stardom that should have been hers all along. ~ Ralph Heibutzki Copyright (C) Muze Inc. 2005. For personal use only. Beginning with 1972`s stone-cold classic BACKSTABBERS, the group`s yearning harmony and Eddie Levert`s gruff, gospel-influenced lead vocals meshed perfectly with Gamble & Huff`s smooth-but-funky production style to create a sound that spawned scores of imitators. Unlike other older groups that attempt to re-capture a share of the market by jumping onto every new trend that comes along, the O`Jays have largely stuck to their guns, turning out one sweet soul affair after another.IMAGINATION is no different--the group delivers 11 tracks of prime Philly soul, replete with slinky bass grooves, sweeping strings, and rafter-raising singing. That said, there are a few nods to modern trends--"Repair Man" takes a cue from late-`80s new jack swing, combining humorous lyrics with a touch of synthesizer and a hip-hop-flavored rhythmic base, while "Chauvinistic" combines old-school disco with a bit of Rick James-esque funk-rock. Throughout, the O`Jays` largely self-penned material is both catchy and substantial, proving beyond the shadow of a doubt that the group can easily go toe to toe with its younger R&B counterparts.Like many soul giants of the `70s who continue to perform and record new material, the O`Jays have updated their sound for a more contemporary feel. While Eddie Levert and company`s nearly flawless vocal harmonies continue to be the anchor of the group, the clinical production found throughout is in sharp contrast with some of the warmer, most intimate moments of their Philadelphia International years. The songwriting is still among the best of their contemporaries (most notably on the quite creative "Repair Man" and "Chauvinistic") and proves that you can keep up with popular music in a dignified, classy manner without pandering to younger audiences and paying ludicrous amounts of money to have A-list producers remix your tracks. It`s not exactly a return to the fold of brilliance that they once had, but it`s close and still quite a pleasant-sounding record. Most longtime devotees will enjoy this album from start to finish, and a few younger cats could learn a thing or tw

1911. Glasgow''s realistic fiction novels often showed the female characters as stronger than the male characters. It was this new type of Southern fiction that made Ellen Glasgow one of the major writers of her time. The vantage point from which most of her nineteen novels were written was her native home of Richmond, Virginia. She received the Pulitzer prize in 1942. The Miller of Old Church: It was past four o''clock on a sunny October day, when a stranger, who had ridden over the corduroy road between Applegate and Old Church, dismounted near the crossroads before the small public house known to its frequenters as Bottom''s Ordinary. Standing where the three roads meet at the old turnpike gate of the county, the square brick building, which had declined through several generations from a chapel into a tavern, had grown at last to resemble the smeared face of a clown under a steeple hat which was worn slightly awry. Upon closer inspection of his debut album O, however, he seems to be more aligned with the likes of David Gray; that`s not to say that he mixes folk and electronica, but just that he incorporates old-school singer-songwriter influences in the service of something original. There`s a hushed, intimate feel to O, and most of the songs are delivered in a delicate, fragile tone that`s perfectly accompanied by the bare-bones production. Tasteful strings and other touches are added here and there, but strictly on an as-needed basis. The closer "Eskimo" erupts into a (literally) operatic climax, and there`s a bonus cut touching on an anomalous rock feel, but otherwise this is prime late-night music for your next Leonard Cohen costume party. Gilbert O`Sullivan - Himself [Remaster] Gilbert O`Sullivan - Himself [Remaster]
$37.03

This remastered Japanese reissue of Gilbert O`Sullivan`s HIMSELF features 14 tracks including "Nothing Rhymed" and "Doing The Best I Can."In 1972, MAM/London saw fit to let the U.S. have its first proper Gilbert O`Sullivan record, a repackaging of his 1971 U.K. debut release, Himself. The repackaging included new cover art (with Gilbert sporting the first of his famous "G" emblazoned varsity sweaters) as well as an altered track listing. "Susan Van Heusen" and "Doing the Best I Can," from the U.K. release, were omitted in favor of "We Will" and his Number One, U.S. smash "Alone Again (Naturally)." In an effort to make sure every American knew exactly what they were getting, the album title was even augmented to read, `Himself (Featuring Alone Again (Naturally))`. The two songs omitted from the original release are missed, mostly, for their role in the nice flow and careful sequencing of Side Two. "We Will," however, proved to be a welcome addition to the U.S. version. An epic and beautifully arranged ode to the simple, unspoken promises kept between friends and family, the tune showed that Gilbert O`Sullivan could be as good as Ray Davies at painting touching pictures of the ordinary. Also fantastic is Side One`s "Permissive Twit," a song about an unplanned pregnancy that, through O`Sullivan`s thoughtful treatment, ends up surprisingly warm, witty, and wholesome. "January Git" and "Matrimony" roll out the barrel in true dancehall- tradition, while "Houdini Said" and "Thunder and Lightning" take a stab at good old piano driven rock & roll. Whether it be the U.K. or U.S. version, Gilbert O`Sullivan`s debut is essential to any lover of Beatles-tinged Brit-pop, and any fan of the mundane made profound. ~ J. Growing Up Chicana/ O Growing Up Chicana/ O
$8.93

What Does It Mean To Grow Up Chicana/o? When I was growing up, I never read anything in school by anyone who had a Z in their last name. This anthology is, in many ways, a public gift to that child who was always searching for herself whithin the pages of a book. from the Introduction by Tiffany Ana Lopez Louie The Foot Gonzalez tells of an eighty-nine-year-old woman with only one tooth who did strange and magical healings... Her name was Dona Tona and she was never taken seriously until someone got sick and sent for her. She'd always show up, even if she had to drag herself, and she stayed as long as needed. Dona Tona didn't seem to mind that after she had helped them, they ridiculed her ways. Rosa Elena Yzquierdo remembers when homemade tortillas and homespun wisdom went hand-in-hand... As children we watched our abuelas lovingly make tortillas. In my own grandmother's kitchen, it was an opportunity for me to ask questions within the safety of that warm room...and the conversation carried resonance far beyond the kitchen... Sandra Cisneros remembers growing up in Chicago... Teachers thought if you were poor and Mexican you didn't have anything to say. Now I know, We've got to tell our own history...making communication happen between cultures.
